4.13. OTP authentication

RemoteView 6.0 offers "Google OTP" as additional method to protect your account together with the usual "ID / PW".

OTP : Short for One-Time Password.

To use Google OTP authentication, users must have RemoteView 6.0 Enterprise Edition in their license.

4.13.1. Manager settings

① Go to Properties > Company Settings > Settings > Security > 2-step verification (OTP) > set to Use All and press Apply.

② Go to Properties > My profile > My information > check the Google OTP authentication key and press Generate key.

③ On the Android mobile device, go to Google Play Store and download/install the "Google Authenticatior" app for free.

④ Launch the Google Authenticator app and enter the key generated in "②".

⑤ On Web login and Access login, OTP authentication window will be presented. Launch the Google Authenticator app, get the 6 digits randomly generated code and enter it to get authenticated.

⑥ Authentication key can be verified in Properties, but also it can be emailed includign a QR code.

4.13.2. User settings

① Go to Properties > Company info > Settings > Security > 2-step verification (OTP) > set to Use All,select User settings and press Get key button.

② Follow the same step as ③ in "4.13.1. Manager settings".
